Welcome to my Wild Garden! Right now, you can come with me as I photograph the growing season of a small, neglected garden. In the future, I plan to add a photo gallery, a section on Tudor outfits, as well as a number of other things.

August 28th:Lots of green leaves and a few blooms.

Green grass

A somewhat diminished clump of wood sorrel continues to produce seed.

a late burdock flower provides a purple note amid brown burrs and a lot of fluff as maturing seeds become ready to take flight.

The ragweed is still hanging in there.

The early wirey grass has long since passed. Its dry remains give a sign that the spring is long past, and that the summer will soon give way to fall.

The stout seed stalk from  last year gives evidence of recent history. In the background, a berry cluster of the poke weed displays green berries. White and green are the predominant colors of the poke berry even so late in the season.

The yellow pollen bearing parts of the mug wort have now turned brown. This is the end-point for this flower.
